Just got an invite/redemption code for it - first off, the personalisation options for your character are insanely complex.

Yep, I have a redemption code in my inbox as well.
Might have a look at it when I get home.
Do you need to register or do they just send you an invite via PSN?
Via whatever email you had in your PSN account (and whether or not you were selected).
Lol my hk account got int a couple days ago, now my Aus account got in wonder if I have to re dl anything.
Only tried it for 30min and rushed through the character customization which had so many options. Little underwhelming at first until I found a bunch of people all chatting. I can see this being really useful to find people to join games with if people continue to use it. Other then that if a game you play regularly is well supported in Home then it should turn out being one of the best game oriented meeting/socializing places around. If only it had next to no load times so you could go in and out fast.
My hk account also got into Namco Museum whatever that is to busy with R2 atm so. Also while we are talking about the ps3 http://www.videogamer.com/videos/kil...laylistid=2958 this game looks so good.
No invite here it seems.![]()
House mate got an invite.
We wandered around for an hour or so earlier. Boring as f*cking shit. It feels like an utter waste of time of wandering and tinkering to do things like play chess, talk to randoms on the internet or watch game trailers, which I could already do.
The only promising aspect is the ability to use it to find people to play in games, but the novelty of being there in a virtual world to organise a game would wear off quickly. Finding games would be much better left up to a competent match-making system (buy an Xbox 360).
Hopefully when it comes out of beta it will offer a lot more. I had such high hopes, and am feeling completely underwhelmed to the point of utter disappointment.
Dude I think Home requires you to have friends on your friends list for it to be worth it, Im looking forward to acutally being able to get to know other people rather than just playing a certain game with them and never hearing or seeing them outside that game.
Also it will be good to have somewhere to chill with my 'real life friends' rather than us all having to buy the same game to play each other.
Trophies earnt in games can be used as Home currency too, boo yah!!
Oh and one major little, large, small thing you all should remember is its FREE!!
