• Skyrim confirmed to be a Steamworks game

    For those who love Steam you'll sure to love the news that Skyrim is Steamworks integrated. For those that don't, well, too bad I guess. Bethesda's Pete Hines has confirmed to PC Gamer that Skyrim will use Steam, not GFWL (Games for Windows LIVE) as previously rumoured. This confirmation was then syndicated on the official @ElderScrolls Twitter account.

    Skyrim won’t use Games for Windows Live on PC, will use Steamworks instead [PC Gamer]

      Yeah, I'll definitely be buying it using a UK VPN. Or hopefully a cracker deal surfaces at Green Man Gaming.

      personally, i'm waiting for the bargain bin - the graphics are already dated so another year or so wont matter

      Same although although for me elder scrolls has been one of those take or leave it RPGs.

      i cant, i've bought every elder scrolls game at face value and never been disappointed, 200+hours in morrow wind and 360+ in oblivion (not to mention the old skool games).

      so will be grabbing a copy day dot unless something massively horrible happens and it kills the entire game/
