• Star Wars: The Old Republic release date, pricing announced

    It's official, we have a Star Wars: The Old Republic release date! Detailed on the SWTOR pre-order page are the editions available, related bonus items, system specification requirements and of course the dates themselves; December 20th in North America and December 22nd in Europe.

    If you're in Australia you won't be able to order it on Origin due to initial restrictions on the regions that are allowed to purchase the game, but you can order it from Game in the UK for about $65 including shipping. Anyone who pre-orders will get early game access.

    After the initial 30 days of play is up, the subscription options start at US $15 per month:
    • 1 Month Subscription: $14.99 (£8.99/€12.99)
    • 3 Month Subscription: $13.99 per month (one-time charge of $41.97/£25.17/€35.97)
    • 6 Month Subscription: $12.99 per month (one-time charge of $77.94/£46.14/€65.94)

      Man, I looked at the RPG section to see if the release date was posted. I hate the News section of the forum :p

      Pre-Ordered from OnlinKeyStore.com stuff having to pay for shipping and or waiting for it to be released in Australia to get onboard.
