• Rebellion confirms dedicated servers

    Not surprisingly, dedicated servers are a hot topic right now. Thankfully, another developer who's more interested in serving the interests of the community and creating a quality product - as opposed to simply minimum cost and maximum revenue - has delivered confirmation of support.

    Jason Kingsley, Rebellion CEO, said this about Aliens vs Predator:

    Rebellion has always been planning to support dedicated servers for Aliens vs Predator PC and we can now officially confirm that this is the case. Rebellion has always appreciated fan support. We're really looking forward to the release of Aliens vs Predator as much as you guys are!

    So, there you have it. So far, it seems only id Software and Infinity Ward are admittedly happy to deliver a poorer experience to the people that buy their games. Let's hope it stays that way.
