• Back to Karkand is out, accompanied by trailer

    Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand landed on Xbox 360 and PC last night. If you weren't aware, it has already been available on the PlayStation 3 for a week. Owners of the Limited Edition get the DLC pack including Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula at no extra charge. For those that didn't buy a LE copy of BF3, you'll have to shell out a few extra bucks for it.

    With the release is a new gameplay trailer, embedded below, featuring gameplay on Sharqi Peninsula.

    We'll be having a Battlefield 3 community bash on the PC from 8:30PM AEST (9:30PM AEDT) this Friday night, the 16th of December. Make sure you jump on Mumble if you're keen for a game. We'll be playing on the Gamers-Underground.com server, exclusively on those Back to Karkand expansion maps, with big-ticket limits.

      dont put vehicles on insta-spawn. Gulf of Oman was fucking shit like that last night.

      try it and see There was no reprieve from heavy vehicles last night. Harb, Solo, and I were capping a point and had enemy LAVs and tanks on all sides. managed to get out of there to find more enemy tanks and LAVs coming up the road. On the plus side, finally saw people using the laser designators...

      Server updated. 1000 tickets across each of the 4 new DLC maps, 1 round per map. 10 minute time-out for the smokers. Half-time vehicle respawn.

      I keep getting kicked by pb after the update with the error Violation (IGNORING QUERIES) #9006" Have updated pb manually and made sure the two pb services were started yet it still kicks me. I have run the pbsvc.exe file and it says test completes without any errors. But has this message in the text window Checking firewall settings OFF Is PnkBstrA explicitly allowed? C:\Windows\system32\PnkBstrA.exe NO Is PnkBstrB explicitly allowed? C:\Windows\system32\PnkBstrB.exe NO Both those programs are allowed through the firewall, the problem is the .exe's don't actually exist in that folder (or anywhere). When running pbsvc.exe is says it has placed copies of them in that folder but they aren't there. Anyone else having this issue?
