Splinter Cell Conviction gets split-screen co-op

Conviction is easily one of my most anticipated single player games of 2010. However for console gamers, or those with HTPC's hooked up to gigantic TV's, now you can get excited about some good old-fashion split screen with real friends, who are really right beside you. There was no official announcement or trailer, Ubisoft simply released a single screenshot with the description of "coop mode split screen confirmed!"...

Truly great split-screen co-op experiences are few and far between - and that gap just keeps widening. With any luck, this will live up to all expectations.
