EA CEO, John Ricitiello, yesterday stated that there was "great progress towards a spring 2011 launch" during a fiscal year conference call. This time-frame has now been confirmed by BioWare, declaring that we should expect a US-spring 2011 release window for The Old Republic. However, it is promised that we can expect some exciting developments during 2010 including the first ever hands-on testing...

While we have not announced a specific date, we can confirm that we are targeting a spring 2011 release for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. We've got a lot of exciting updates and reveals planned throughout 2010, including the first-ever hands-on testing for the game. except for the whole being woken up to find a giant tentacle covered anus puckering for you - why you would've been moved to milenko's house is quite beyond me though.
