Gran Turismo 5 delay only for Japan

Last night we reported about the troubling GT5 delay, and expected it would domino effect to effect the Western release. Not so, says Sony, who have explained to CVG that the reported delay of Gran Turismo 5 is "only applicable for the Japanese market". However, that is of course the only territory that had a release date - so we wouldn't suggest you expect with any certainty that this still won't roll-over to other regions.
