    It turns out that 2K Marin has gone the way of Infinity Ward. It has just been made clear that there will be no LAN support, and no dedicated servers for the sequel's new multiplayer component. The explaination given is a contradiction in itself, and reads "We chose to spend the time we had creating a solid game foundation and unfortunately that did not include LAN play or dedicated servers." Make of that what you will.

      What gives with this lack of proper LAN and dedicated server support from developers?

      I wont be getting this game now, not at the current price if there is no MP (of use). I'll wait until its on sale so I can buy it for the SP campaign that it is.

      also - looks fuckall different from the previous one. MP was the only thing i was going to buy it for (sure you get to be a big daddy in SP but meh - Mech Living Legends lets you have elemental suits).
