Mass Effect 2 available world-wide

For those of you sitting at home, twiddling your thumbs, unaware; Mass Effect 2 has just been unlocked on Steam. It's now available to play in all regions - and while the Bad Company 2 master servers are down, this is the perfect opportunity to get started. If you haven't yet pre-ordered or pre-loaded, you really shouldn't miss this GOTY contender. Check out the standard edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition which contains in-game items, a digital comic book, and more!

almost halfway thru i think... loving it!! its like a movie but ur in it 8) trying to get everything the 1st go a bit far fetched but im reaching for the stars!!!

lol me too game finished only 32hrs all up tried to get everything but knew i was ever gonna do that :S oh well gonna have to back and play again thru on INSAINTY level to get my achivement

2 months later, I finally break the hold of Bad Company 2 and get around to finishing it. Took about 23 hours in total. I obviously followed the primary story line through, and I did all of the 'side quests' I stumbled across. I didn't go exploring anywhere in the galaxy that I didn't need to go, though. That whole planet scanning stuff bores me to tears.

The last couple hours of play was some of the most freaking intense. How amazing is the 'end boss'! It felt like there was more repetition in this game's missions than the first, but there probably wasn't - just a matter of having done it all before. Overall it was clearly the better game. Awesome.

Bring on ME3.

The last boss was quite easy for me..

I just used that Fusion cannon thingy, I saved up the ammo for it up until the final moment. Got him down 3/4's health in one shot. So all that was needed was a few full clips from the upgraded hvy machine gun and he was down.

The whole game was extremely easy on any difficulty level. But I don't play single player games for the difficulty - that's what multiplayer is for.
