• Bioshock 2 now unlocked on Steam

If you've pre-purchased; get excited. Moments ago, Bioshock 2 was unlocked on Steam! If you were waiting for release, you'll pay an extra $10 and miss out on a copy of the original to play or gift. Them's the breaks!

I haven't picked it up quite yet, but if the reviews are anything to go by, the gameplay is an improvement over the original - despite the original not really needing a sequel, or prequel. I'll be sure to give it a run through once I get through the very full plate of other games in front of me, but drop us a comment or two with your thoughts if you care to.

I'm the same, I think when this is on special again I will have at least gotten through a lot of the games I bought on the last steam xmas sale... and correct me if im wrong, peer to peer connection to multiplayer? I'll just be getting this for single player.

i didnt even make it to 2. number 1 was boring enough for me. normally i dont mind the same shit over and over in a shooter but when it's the same shit and it's all brown, you can dress up the critters however you want, it's still just Quake.

From a critic point of view, I think they're great games with great production values - and I fully understand why there is so much love for them. But, I never did finish them, despite being "wowed" initially.

I can't remember Bioshock plot or story, but I did finish it. 2 is a struggle, which is exacerbated by having to sign into gfwl every time I start the game, BEFORE i go to single player, which takes 20-30 seconds to download my profile.

The first one was about some guy, who crashes in a plane, goes to this place, does stuff. I think there was a reason to do things. Bioshock 2 doesn't seem to have much in the way of story going at all. Theres some girl, you're a mute giant in a diving suit, and theres some woman. I don't know if I can make it through the whole thing.
