DICE address huge list of Bad Company 2 issues

Attachment 6696Over at the Electronics Arts UK forums, a DICE representative has produced a long, long list of issues hampering Bad Company 2 at present. Astonishingly, every single one of these issues has also been responded to with a 'status' to give those concerned a genuine idea of when or how it's going to be fixed. In some cases, though, there's acknowledgment and dismissal - which is most unfortunate...

Here are just a few of the items that caught my eye:

Autobalance: This is an ongoing area we are researching. We realize the frustration this causes. A re-write is underway to address Autobalance and joining friends which leads to team balance issues.
Ability to take a screenshot: not currently supported
Knife is glitched: Design issue plus latency.
Spotting doesn't function properly many of the times: Being researched. Potential issue with cool down timer.
Malfunctioning C4 (does not always detonate): Being researched.

I actually think malfunctioning C4 is kinda cool. I mean, I'm sure it doesn't work all the time IRL either!

also - no mention on there about the soldier stats site taken down AGAIN after not working AGAIN when it was re-released the other day.

Hey, have any of you guys been having trouble with lag the last day or so? I'm getting the MW2 thing where it takes ages to tell me I've actually got a kill. Shitting me.

i like this one:

Isla Innocentes-specific building glitch for MCOM's. Destroying fence next to building, levels the building, effectively destroying the MCOM in the process: Oops. We will work on a fix for this.

Users with ATI cards are experiencing longer-than-normal load times: Known issue - was wondering wtf was happening as i hear all you mob imumble running around and im just waiting to join.

Scrollwheel becomes "inverted" while trying to change weapon when sprinting: Known issue, potential fix soon. - running along go to pull out the pistol and i end up with the defrib = dead

And i still hate teh knife function
