• Settlers 7 now available on Steam

    Attachment 6723As the title suggests, you can now get your hands on Settlers 7 via Steam, for $49.99 USD. The first round of reviews are out and it looks to be a hit, with an overall Metarating of 86 at this moment. Game Informer sung its praises with a score of 85, saying "I’m hoping that people get into it, because I plan on keeping this one in my regular rotation for some time."

      just had a look and it looks great! but what's happened to the Multiplayer?

      Sounds great! I'm sure we're all going to love it! There's just one problem - most of us can't, thanks to ongoing issues with Ubisoft's controversial new "always online" DRM.

      The problem reportedly strikes after the game has already confirmed an active Internet connection, and prevents the user from playing even the single-player campaign, and returning the error "server not available". But they are available, because other people are logged into them and merrily playing away.
