• Steam now in closed beta on Mac

    Attachment 6754If you have a Mac and intend to be playing games via Steam on it, the news that Valve's closed beta has landed should get you excited. Especially considering they're taking applications for access.

    "Steamworks for the Mac supports all of the Steamworks APIs, and we have added a new feature, called Steam Play, which allows customers who purchase the product for the Mac or Windows to play on the other platform free of charge," explained Valve's Jason Holtman, Director of Business Development.

      that is fucking awesome - reminds me of the old days where some games had hybrid discs so you could install on PC or Mac.
