• MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries re-released for free

    Attachment 6835Four days ago MekTek re-released MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries as a free download, after finally getting the green light from Microsoft to do so. They even made a number of improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, obtaining the 1.7GB installer proved problematic. And by problematic, I mean their site went down and you couldn't actually download it. Now though, it's back up, and you're free to go and grab it!

      also they've set it up now so the installer can be run without a connection to their website - nifty.

      My MTX downloader thing crashes at Games Path. Can't even start the process.

      cant just get the game files from node? they have a 1.75gb bundle up there
