• We've got another StarCraft II beta key to give away

    If you're already sold on StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, head on over to the Game or EB Games website as you'll be granted beta access simply by pre-ordering. But, if you're still undecided, this is the perfect opportunity to secure some game time prior to release. As per our last StarCraft II key give-away, one lucky GU Premium subscriber will be selected at random, and handed a StarCraft II beta key this Saturday morning.

      Terrible is an understatement, it's pretty much like they aren't playing.... however I have found after the first 5 online matches and you get a ranking, you play people who are very much around the same skill level as you.

      i'm guessing blizzard have released a shit AI with the beta to force players to play MP for balancing?

      Apart from working on build orders and potential strategies, I'm not sure why anyone would skirmish against an AI player. Just like I never understood playing Quake 3 with bots. What fun is it if you're playing against pre-programmed intelligence? You never have the satisfaction of picturing them smashing their keyboard, or even seeing them do anything truly surprising.

      At a LAN I play other people. I can still play other people. At a LAN I also play the people right beside me. I can still play the people right beside me.

      I'll go sit in a corner with the tens of thousands of other Australians who have killed LAN events by not going to them anymore.
