Google have their hand on so many honey pots that the mind boggles, and here's another: video game digital distribution. Google today revealed the Chrome Web Store browser-based application. It was demonstrated that games such as Plants Vs. Zombies and LEGO Star Wars could be downloaded and installed directly to your Google Chrome browser, and then run in full 3D smoothly...
Interestingly, the Chrome Web Store will work with any browser - though Chrome users will be able to take advantage of a special built-in app launcher area. And it's not just games you'll be able to get your hands on, but a vast array of applications, not unlike what we see with Apple's App Store.
