• Man stabs rival over Counter-Strike knife-fight

    A French Counter-Strike player, Julien Barreaux, spent a long six months plotting revenge against a gaming rival who beat him in a CS knife-fight. During that time, Barreaux was able to track down his virtual assailant's identity and location, known at the time only as "Mikhael". When Mikhael came to the front door, Barreaux "plunged a kitchen knife into his chest," missing his heart by a mere inch...

    He was sentenced for two years in prison on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm. "You are a menace to society. I am frankly terrified of the disproportionate reaction you could have if someone looked at you the wrong way in the street" said the judge in his closing statement.

      He was probably pissed because despite the fact they announced "knife only", Mikhael still ran around spraying everybody.

      That's the sort of shit I do. "Knife only? On a public server? How about go f*ck yourself, or go play your stupid little games on your own stupid little server." Then I headshot them all.

      Yeah I'm the same. Unless it's three in the morning and there are 5 people in the server, everybody dies via gunfire.

      Knives in CS are known to leave people on low hp unless you get a good shot in.
