• PS3 gets Twisted Metal, GT5 release date and pay-PSN

We've been talking about Twisted Metal rumours here for a while. Jaffe would drop the odd hint, then drop another to nullify it. It was all very confusing, but the cat is finally out of the bag! Twisted Metal for the PlayStation 3 lands in 2011 with choppers, bikes and 16-player online.

Speaking of online, Sony have also announced a new PlayStation Network subscription service, "PlayStation Plus", that will cost you $49.99 USD per year. It really is a "plus" option though. Rather than taking existing bells and whistles away, they deliver a whole lot more. Subscribers will get access to full PSN games which you can play, free of charge, for as long as you're subscribed. Subscribers will also get exclusive and early access to demos and betas, a content auto-update feature, and exclusive DLC and store content such as themes and minis.

For those looking forward to PlayStation Move; September 19 is the release date, and you'll be able to pick-up the device for a here $49.99 USD. It will cost an extra $29.99 USD for the sub-controller, however. Packs with Move-enabled games and the PlayStation Eye will also be available.

On a final note, Portal 2 has been confirmed to be heading to the PS3, oh, and did I mention Gran Turismo 5 now has a concrete release date? November 2nd, this year. Yes, really.

Gran Turismo 5 will see no more delays, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has assured CVG.

Speaking to our man on the ground in Los Angeles, Yamauchi answered "no more delays?" with "yes" and a positive thumbs up. So it looks like he'll be sticking to yesterday's November 2 release date announcement.

At its E3 press conference yesterday, Sony also announced that GT5 will ship with full 3D support, which is good news for those of you with money falling out of your ears.

      Standard cars,
The game has 200 premium cars which have full damage and are modelled down to the bolts and stitching on the seat belts. The other 800 cars look like this

They still have mechanical damage and scratches/dirt will show on them. No interior modelling though.
