It feels like an eternity since we first launched GU. In fact, it was ten years ago when what you know as Gamers-Underground.com began as Gamers@Octa4. When the Darwin-based ISP was purchased by iiNet, we decided rather than let the community die, that we would re-brand and venture off down our own path.

So, here we are, a decade later. This puts us in a very exclusive club of Australia's longest running gaming websites, among a mere handful. We want to thank all of you for your loyalty and support - at the point of writing this, Gamers-Underground.com caters for almost 10,000 registered members and over 70,000 individual readers every month.

From the very first Octa4 Lan, through DGA and all its variants, GU most certainly has come a long way! It was a privilege to be there at the start and see what you guys have made it become. Great work as always from OD and "R three Coil"
