• DC Universe Online cinematic trailer stuns Comic-Con

    There was a lot to see at Comic-Con, including some exciting announcements and reveals. One of the the biggest though, was this DC Universe Online trailer titled "Who Do You Trust". It really is absolutely freaking awesome. The anticipated massively multiplayer superhero RPG is scheduled for release on November2, 2010.

      problem with awesome cinematics like that is they really show up just how dated the in-game graphics are. i mean ffs it looks City of Heroes (and i don't mean just because it's superheroes)

      Yeah, rest assured the actual game will be nothing like this trailer.

      yeah i looked at some gameplay vids like this one:


      chuckling at comments saying it looks better than CO - i want to have a go at the beta tho - one thing about CO that shits me is you dont FEEL powerful as you get to higher levels - if you aren't paying attention, something 20 levels below you can still kick your arse (whereas in CoH my tank can kill critters 6 levels beneath him with his fucking TAUNT)

      saw this last week and it blew me away, even better than the star wars ones.
