• StarCraft II launch parties tonight, everywhere?

    A couple of weeks ago we reported that EB Games were doing midnight launch parties along Australia's East coast, at their Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne flagship stores. Well it turns out it might be a whole lot bigger, and further reaching than first anticipated - even Darwin.

    Forum member Aegis just got off the phone with his local EB Games in Palmerston, who are also doing the midnight launch. Head on over to the EB Games StarCraft II Midnight Launch website to double check your city, and if it's not listed, give your local store a call and report back!

    You might even see a member of the StarCraft II dev team there - StarCraft II Producer, Kaeo Milker, is confirmed to be attending in Brisbane.

      I've already downloaded the digital distribution versions of the Southeast Asia client, and North America client. Now just to wait for unlock.

      I might still head down to the launch party anyway, to have a looksie. Depends how I tired I feel later this evening.

      Apparently the Jape store isn't open tonight, so if you were planning to head there, keep going to caz instead.

      I just got back from caz and down in the parking lot theres a fair amount of guys camping in their cars

      Heading down to the launch party in King George Square now - will be sure to try and get some footage of the festivities and Q&A with producer, Kaeo Milker. The EB Games is taking pre-orders until 11:30pm, then it closes in preparation for the big shebang at midnight.

      I'll give you guys a game or two before bed, so jump on Mumble when you get home with it.

      Now, to install an optical drive to install it with...

      i haven't tried installing it yet, im pretty sure the key wont be able to register anyway until tomorrow...
