If you hadn't heard, Duke Nukem: Next-Gen is a project that looks to recreate the original Duke Nukem 3D, using Unreal Engine technology. The game has now been granted a "personal non-commercial licence" by Gearbox, meaning not only is it allowed to be made, it's allowed to use the official Duke Nukem branding.Frederik "Fresch" Schreiber, lead development, says that it will even receive official support from Gearbox.
