Fancy playing a military shooter inside the gorgeous CryENGINE 3, for free!? Too bad, unless you live in Asia! Crytek has revealed an upcoming multiplayer shooter titled Warface, it's PC-only, it's free-to-play, but it will only be available in Korea. Which is a shame, but it sounds truly intriguing, with a regularly updated PVE universe including "dramatic multiplayer co-op missions" as well as class based PVP. For those not down with MMO and RPG lingo, that's player-vs-environment and player-vs-player.Crytek CEO, Cevat Yerli, had this to say: "Our passion is to always deliver the best gaming experience possible.
"We're excited to debut with Warface in South Korea and to deliver a compelling and truly unique experience soon."
Yohan Kim, managing director of Crytek Seoul, expresses their confidence in the game, stating that "Warface will revolutionize the genre and become the next generation in online FPS."
If that's the case, let's hope it makes its way to the Western market eventually.
