      Squeenix makes some good cgi, but can they make a good 1st person thinker? Its too soon to tell.

      if it goes anything like front mission evolved - no. You'll 'kill' the same guy several times, each time there'll be a cutscene where he is miraculously unharmed, he'll deliver a 'next time gadget!' speech and run away. at the end you'll wind up bestest buddies. and your dad will die - only not at the start when they want you to THINK he died even though you knew he didn't.
