• Bungie possibly working on a steampunk MMO

    The rumour mill is churning after an uncovered forum post revealed that Bungie's next game might just be an MMO set in a steampunk universe titled "Destiny". The post appeared to be an invite from Bungie to Seattle-based steampunk fans, who were to arrive at the developer's studio on June 3, in their favourite outfits, for a "steampunk game".

    "I need people to show up in steampunk finery to have photos taken for video game artwork for a steampunk game currently in development. Wear your own steampunk clothing or show up and we'll put you in costume. Snacks and beverages will be provided and a good time will be had by all," the post reads.

    It has also been discovered that a Linkedin profile of a supposed Bungie programmer has claimed to be "working on the upcoming Bungie MMO called Destiny".

    July 7 is Bungie Day, and the studio recently teased that some sort of announcement will be made then - perhaps we'll find out about "Destiny" then.
