I remember spending countless hours playing at Hindley Street Arcades in Adelaide, long gone thanks to modern consoles and broadband internet (oh, and crime). Downtown, Timezone Meridian, Twilight Zone, The Tilt. One of my favourite games was NBA JAM, which etched phrases such as "from downtown" and "he's on fire" into my mind forever.

Well, for those who didn't know, the classic title has been revitalised and is on its way to a re-release. A debut trailer has been produced showing off some of the gameplay for your viewing pleasure. It seems to be a faithful reincarnation - justice has been done.

As noted in the Gamers-Underground.com store article, we'll soon be running a competition with some nifty prizes - if for no other reason, to have a bit of fun with our new merchandise. While not in game, this Brink cinematic is a fantastic CG look at the gameplay and intense action the team is aiming to capture with their forthcoming sci-fi shooter. Hopefully the team that brought us Enemy Territory has more luck with this interesting shooter than they did Quake Wars.

Not much has been said about the next installment of Deus Ex, titled Human Revolution. But, if you're after something to mull over, Square Enix have released a trailer for your perusal. Somewhat intriguing, I thought. But I'll let you make up your own mind.

It has been rumored for the better part of the week, but now it's concrete. Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge is coming to PSN, Xbox LIVE, PC and iPhone very shortly. And it's no surprise - the remaster of the first has proven a massive success.
