it has a very valid point, at least now its obvious who we should, and should not listen to in regard to dga matters, it also makes it easy to directly approach the appropriate dga member if you have any points to discuss. that said, someone care to point out the difference between 'forum liaison' and 'public officer'?

Well to clear up the point.

If you are at DGA and you have a problem with power you go see Clackers or Cockroche.

If you have trouble with your food order you go see Phoenix.

If you are having trouble with your computer on what ever reason you go see myself, mungus or DOM.

You can't register for a DGA event and can't work out why you get in contact with Raker or Neo.

You have a suggestion for a competition you go see the games admin or officials.

The list is here for your benefit. If you have a problem you now know who to see. If you don't know who is who, just ask around

being the public officer, my duty is very defined in an association. I am responsible for

• signing all legal demands made by the association
• ensure audited accounts are lodged with the commissioners office
• ensure records are retained for 7 years.
• must take all reasonable steps to ensure the association complies with the associations act..
• ...and many other boring things.

the forum liaison posts stuff to the public about decisions made by the committee and relays any information we've missed back to us.. that's why it's the forum liaison.

Forum liaison is responsible for relaying information from out private forum to you gamers such as LAN dates, new and exciting things as well as other things you guys would be interested in. also to relay information such as suggestions, complaints and problems the gamers lay down back to the rest of the officials.

Public officer is to make sure we are keeping our business on track within the law and to chase up much needed sponsorship.

Although I suddenly feel disempow-wuhed, I'd add that this is a good idea.

You might consider badges, and signs on tables.

Nevertheless you'll still get a lot of people coming to the wrong table. Whenever I'm at Freedom LANs I get approached with cash by thirsty people, even when I've decided to be a paying customer incognito.

we will be having shirts with names printed on them. and this list shall be posted on the intranet.
