The information on http://www.darwingamers.org/membership.php states that "All membership types are valid until the end of June", which I believe is the end of the financial year, and we were all told that at some point from memory. That explains why the prices are varied depending on what time during the year you registered. Sorry if I sound harsh here, but perhaps you should have done some research before signing up, all the information has been available for a long time.

I can assure you you were not charged $35 for membership in April, no one was. It would have cost you $15 AND you got a free LAN suasage and a coke. At the time it was cheaper becoming a member than to pay for the actual LAN. Knight did bring this to my attention and to the attention of others in the committee and we can assure you, you WERE NOT charged $35.

You can see here on the DGA website http://www.darwingamers.org/membership.php that between April - June you are charged $15. I'm fairly sure I was the one who attended to you during the April LAN, I wouldn't have charged you $35 when the prices were clearly stated in front of me and on the website. I also told every member why it was cheaper and when membership runs out. Is it possible that you may have made a mistake thinking you had paid $35?

Okey lucky for you Newbitlord, I have manage to dig up when you became a member on the DGA website and a hard copy list on paper. You became a member in March not April at DGA 33 and would of paid $20.

The DGA 33 Registration thread also stated,

    Membership & Membership Benefits

    * All DGA members attending will be entitled to 1 free soft drink and 1 free sausage sandwich.
    * New members who signup on the day will receive free LAN entry.

DGA membership prices have been pro-rated due to membership expiring on June 30th. These membership prices will apply for the month of March.

    Senior Membership: $20
    Junior Membership: $15
Which can be viewed here http://www.gamers-underground.com/fo...ad.php?t=17593 .

I hope this is all cleared up for you now.

its very clear to me now, i remembered this earlier bout 8ish when my friend called, i thought i paid $35 for membership, but the reason i thought that was because i lent a friend $15 so he could become a member himself. i forgot about this an i apoligize

the first few months of this year i didnt have the internet so my friend signed me up for the DGA's, and that thread for DGA 33 i would not have seen on GU because i didnt become a member of GU till April

sry bout making ur dga thread messy looking... my fault and sorry :p once again i make myself look like and idiot...
