    Nope.

It's basically future proofing. We believe 254 computers on the network is a possible figure come this EVO, so the subnet change was implemented before hand to iron out any bugs that may have arisen. Virtually 100% of problems have been due to computers with Static IP's and their owners not having changed the subnet to 255.255.254.0

/23 is now DGAs standard subnet.

we utilised around 250 i.p address's (although there weren't quite as many people) 2 evo's ago Rip.

So all things being well we should exceed 254 address's soon !

    Kronk here !

I'll have my say about the servers, would be good if they were sitting off UPS's so if there is a brownout you can safely turn them off.

One other thing that would be nice for troubleshooting sake a donated monitor and keyboard + if you want a 4 port KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse)

I'll even donate a monitor and keyboard for this reason.

In the event something happens i.e last DGA incident brownout and DHCP it would of been alot quicker to have all of this ready to use.

Last note for the day the previous DGA, not the last one (birthday) was one of the best DGA's I went to. Lots of Admins and players alike having fun and getting their groove on; fragging away.

Birthday DGA where were all the admins? Thanks to the ones that were there (Eater, Woop, NeoTheo + about 3 or 4 others ones I dont know their tags; apologies) it just didnt feel right.

I think it wasnt right because brain wasnt handign the ChubbaCups out; thats it lol

    Cheers
