Thread: DGA WebServer Idea..

Hey all this was just a small suggestion for the internal webserver that will be running...

Would it be possible to add a server query to it for the official DGA Game Servers that might be running...

similar to uglyGS but not quiet as complex, somthing like phpqstat which uses qstat to query the servers and the php just has an output of name of server, what map and how many users are using it. Just a thought as evo is coming up and it might make an easy way to see howmany peeps areon what server before firing up a game...

Great idea. That would make things easier. For some reason some games will not show up on my PC and you have to manually enter the address just to find out there are no players on it anyways.

sweet, neotheo sent me a link to another lan manager, which was pretty sweet, but uses diffrent program it looks.

would be good to see this or somethings similar at evo where everyone uses it then no more having to bootup the games to check what games are being played

Sweet as rip, I have been working on a leaderboard for battlefield 2 for meshgamers website. I just need to sort out with jinx for some webspace and should be cooking with gas. If you get your server up rip we can porbably get it going there as well, my linux server is dead.

I am looking into other games as well, but bf2 is the main thing on list at the moment. Currently only using the bf2s leaderboard.

WIll give this ago and if all goes well in our testing I will let you guys/gals know

lol looks more like a mesh plug then a web server suggestion
but i do like them sites, nice find ill have to set some up myself

yeah have to test it out elsewhere and prove it works before recommending.

will let you know how it goes and if alls well its something dga might want to take into consideration and put on game server.

sorry, looking back at post it seemed I was more directing my post to rip than everyone. wasnt my intention just saw it and wrote something I had my mind on this morning

I have edited what I meant to say about it and can check site for further updates.
