Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Darwin Gamers Association, will be held at 3.30pm on Sunday, 9th July 2006 at the Greek School Hall.

ITEMS OF BUSINESS

1. To receive and consider the Financial Reports of the Association as at and for the year ended 30th June 2006 in accordance with the Associations Act 2005, and the Reports of the Committee of Management.
2. To elect the Officers of the Association and the Committee of Management for the coming year. All present Committee members retire in accordance with the Constitution of the Association. In accordance with custom all committee members may offer themselves for re-election unless otherwise indicated.
3. To hold an election to fill the positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and four additional committee members. Nominations for any position as an officer or committee member of the Association are invited from current members.
4. To transact any other business which may legally be brought before the meeting.

Note: Nominations for the positions must be made in writing, signed by the nominator and a seconder, accompanied by the written consent of the candidate, and delivered to the Secretary, Darwin Gamers Association., PO Box 38705, Winnellie NT 0810, not later than Friday, 23rd June 2006. Nominees and nominators must be current members, either financial or complimentary members, of the Association. If insufficient nominations are received to fill all vacancies, nominations can be made at the Annual General Meeting.

This is important for all members to attend
The lack of DGA's events has been because of lack committee members free to organise and run these events.
We need more people onboard if we want to hold regular events and expand onto bigger and better things.

So show your support and make it to the AGM

ok so the above notice is confusing
next dga lan party is 10th - 11th June
and the agm notice is confusing is it on saturday 9th or sunday 9th july??

9th of July is a Sunday this year.

sorry, didn't notice i hadn't changed that heading.. it was changed in the body.

because the greek school was unavailable.
