I'm R3CO1L, you silly bastard Jono! However, there was another "Recoil" many moon ago, who lived in WA. He was a CS player (and later a Q3 player I believe).

I did however de-throne his right to the name during a clan match against his team in CS b5.2 -- the stakes were that whoever's team lost the match must change their nick name. The Syndicate dominated them on Militia and Siege (if I remember correctly). We went on to knock off EAC (one of the countries top teams at the time) and immortalise ourselves forever as one of the best beta teams in the history of Australian Counter-Strike, later becoming Pantheon's NT divison (the team that won the first real "e-sport" event in Australia; the CPL Pacific)...

All before I hit puberty.

Beating EAC takes a good effort, i remember they had a 100+/3 W/L ratio at one stage before the break down of them, SoG and EXi.

I think they funniest clan wars i was ever in was around beta 4-5.2 when i joined my first CS clan, we went alright against most clans. Then we came up against MOS. it was the first time ive seen a flashbang used in a clan war, everyone was like WTF! we got pwned basically all round in cs_assault.

Other than that CSG was prolly my serious clan days with YakuZa and c` not to far off the pace.

But in the beta days, you cant go past a good knife and jeep fight in jeepathon_2000?
