Thread: DGA Packup times?

Has the DGA packup times changed? I honestly thought seeing admins start shuffling tables away at 8:30 while people are still sleeping was a bit to early to pack up...

I know on the FAQ it says pack up time might be early due to attendance but people were still gaming/watching TV/Sleeping when things started to get unpluged... I know I was wanting to get another game of armagetron in when the servers or the switch at the front got clicked off.

Anyway its just my point of view

What time does the DGA LAN start?
DGA starts at 12pm on the Saturday and finishes Sunday at 4pm. However pack up time maybe earlier depending on the participation left at DGA. Entry will not be permitted before 12pm Saturday due to administrators setting up

i recon it was a bit too early also.

lan times at this venue are supposed to be 10 am saturday til 10am sunday.
if we dont have the venue cleaned and packed up they keep charging us
however as i wasnt there over to those who were for more answers on this

Anywere else this written down? as I honestly have only read the FAQ on http://www.darwingamers.org about times and the likes.... might be time to get the FAQ updated.

Yep and updates are being done as time permits etc
But as always we welcome comments from gamers and constructive criticisms and genuine ideas

To answer the times on pack up ..

Yep I started at 8:30am as there were tables empty .. I start early so Im not there rushing at last minute.

To those sleeping well, not much we can do to help them.

We aim to be closed and locked by 10:30am and to achieve this we start early.

And then at about 9:30am we start to disconnect lan cables and then by 9:45/10am most people are packed and ready to go, and then allows us to continue the last little bit.
