Thread: DGA has EFTPOS

Good Afternoon GU,

It is only 3 hours now until the official kick off of MMXi Delta.

We are at the moment getting everything ready for the event.

Due to the number of registered gamers, we have setup for 35 people which means we only have 35 seats and food and drinks to cover this many. We would like to stress for future events that DGA need to know if you are attending the event up to 1 day out so we can organise the Tables, Chairs, food and drinks.

If more people show up tonight we can arrange for 3 people per table to accommodate however there are 7 more slots free right now.

DGA will be setting up for 4PM this afternoon and if you are available we would appreciate your assistance. The more the merrier.

Now to introduce a first for DGA, we now have a EFTPOS machine which will accept Debit, Visa and Mastercard transactions. This will allow DGA move towards a cashless event and offer this convenience to you. We hope this solution will enable you to come down if you are strapped for cash and have a credit card, so you can enjoy DGA and pay later.

Here is the system we have setup:

• Entry $25 – Receive a Green ticket to be put on your computer – the ticket number will be used for the door prize and luck dip prizes
• Meal with 3 Drink $10 – Receive a Red ticket for food to be give at dinner time and 3 Purple tickets to be handed over to receive your drinks
• 3 Drinks only $5 – Reveive 3 Purple tickets to be handed over to receive your drinks

We recommend the use of the debit or credit card to remove the need to carry money.

The available drinks tonight will be: Coke, Coke Zero, Solo and Water which can be purchased for $2 per drink.

Dinner will be an all you can eat until gone sausage sizzle which will include Bread with butter, Sauce, Onions and Cheese. Dinner will be served from 7PM.

Tonight we will also have the event announcements from 7PM

The timetable can be accessed at any time at DGA Timetable - Darwin Gamers Association This will be keep up to date if anything changes.
