It has been almost 12 years since StarCraft, and the Blizzard hype machine has been in full swing since the announcement of its sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, at BlizzCon all those years ago. Well the Hyperion has finally landed, and we've spent the last week hammering away at the single player campaign.
Does it live up to the hype? Has the long, long wait been worth it? In short, yes. Yes it has.
Forgoing sleep - and the glory of multiplayer combat - I played through the campaign from start to finish, and then (heroically) went back for more, exploring all the optional and alternative content.
