Thread: Beneath a Steel Sky on iPhone

Any other adventure fans have the pleasure of playing this? It's always a game I wanted to dive into, but sort of missed the boat, and it always felt a bit too dated to get into.

The iPhone remaster is outstanding, with intuitive and user-friendly consoles and lots of new high-res sequences drawn by Dave Gibbons (Watchmen). It shits over the Monkey Island remake as far as control is concerned.

Pumped for the Broken Sword Director's Cut port to hit the iPhone sometime in Feb.

I loved the bloody arse off BaSS. What I would like to see though is Telltale releasing the new Monkey Island episodes for iPhone. That would be sweet!

Excited you mentioned Broken Sword though. It was one of those adventure games that got past me. It seems whenever I met someone who was right into the old school Sierra and Lucasarts adventure games we'd always get to the point after talking about them with ever-increasing enthusiasm that they would name drop Broken Sword and then gasp and reel when I confessed I hadn't played it. Will be good excuse to finally get around to it, I reckon!
