    Steam UI Beta

what does everyone think of the Steam UI Beta? personaly i love it!! It does run better on VISTA and 7 alot better also i noticed that UI on XP was alittle sluggish but that might be cause of all my games..

But it could still do with some more tweaking on Call Of Duty MW2 the New overlay UI is slow when game is closed on both my Q9650 (RIP Mobo) and my AthlonX 6000+ (Now Current) pc on both Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 Pro 64bit

It's leaps and bounds better than Steam as we previously knew it. Even if they went a bit gradient crazy.

It actualy does have a kind of okay'sh download manager now. Though I still think they need to spend time on that department. I still find that if a winsocket is not closed correctly (AKA SteamWatch) it will hang the process and will not exit until that TCP/IP connection is dropped.

Other than the above problem it works great here on Windows 7 that is running inside Windows Vista that is running inside Windows XP.
This post contains tracers of humor and nuts.

iv noticed also download mannager does not restart when u stop 1 download and it works faster. I think steam might work well with some P2P for downloads from content servers wich will work great with Steamwatch 3

Edit: I forgot too add that when you have alot of games in adds another 4sec up to around 1 min to load i have 215 games and still growing + a 2nd account wich i made for lans for people to use when they done have an account http://steamcommunity.com/id/xolares that can be tweaked more to load faster!
