    Company of Heroes Online

    Anyone still playing CoH? Seems the community base is still massive. Jimmy and I purchased it at Steam sale price, had our first session last night, and are super impressed. I'll be jumping back and forth between this and StarCraft II for my RTS fix it seems.

    I was just doing some reading and stumbled across the not-yet-released Company of Heroes Online - a free-to-play remake of the game which has been in open beta in Korea for over a year. It seems like THQ will be aiming to push everyone away from their retail versions of the game and over to this one, and they've spent a lot of times improving the popular CoH multiplayer formula.

    It's about to head to China, and then the US in September. Then, finally, a global release. In the meantime, jump into CoH's Sydney chat channel and look for "deific" (me) and "catsup3" (jimmy), or just jump into Mumble.

    They're all inter-compatible it seems. It's just that those with the expansions get different/more specialized units - and can play as different countries etc.

    Jimmy has orig CoH, Janteus and I have both expansions.

    Single player RTS is always a snooze-fest imo. Doesn't matter what game, it just doesn't interest or entertain me.

    Multiplayer is where it's at.
