US$170,000 SC2 tourney being broadcast tonight from 6.30pm

Now this is one of those serious tournaments!

Tonight from 6.30pm on GOMtv.net there'll be a live broadcast from Korea (in English, with well-known SC commentators Tasteless and Artosis) of the first four games from round one of group D of the 2010 TG-Intel Starcraft II Open Season 1 comp.

Full bracket tables here. Scroll down and look at "Day 7 - Sep 13th" for tonight's line up.

The comp itself has already been going for two weeks and runs until the beginning of October. Over that time they'll have whittled down the 64 entrants and someone will go home with US$86,000.

    Making a difference.

Not only that but you then have to download and install their player, too!

I did it anyway and enjoyed it so much I forked out $2.15 to watch tomorrow night's broadcast in HD. Same time again tomorrow. From 6.30pm CST the last four matches in the first round will be played out.

There'll be four best of three match ups between PvP, ZvT, ZvT and ZvP.
