Have a look at other prices around. www.staticice.com.au is a good place to start.

only 2 things i would suggest:

    - change the power supply to a 650w modular one (for a little less than the 750w).
    - spend the extra cash and at least grab a hd5850 for roughly $130 more. i would personally grab a gigabyte mobo instead of the asus for like half the price, and spend the savings on a better graphics card.

You might want to give us more info on your new system like what are you planing to do with it etc. At the moment the items aren't really the most advisable things to get.

Motherboard is complete overkill. Bloated motherboards are generally a waste of money. Keep it lean, just read some reviews and make sure it's a good performer.

    Intel i5 750 rocks - it's the i5 to get.

That PSU is far too watt heavy for your needs, unless you plan on running an array of drives. You could quite easily get away with a 430-500w. Just make sure it actually performs at its spec. Seasonic is my brand of preference because it does actually deliver its rating.

I'm running a 128GB Kingston V-Series SSD and it's pretty solid. There are better options though, if you're willing to spend a tad extra. I'm also running a 128GB OCZ Vertex which flies, and that'd be my recommendation.

The GeForce GTX 260 is a good performer. I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure you could get something that's even quicker for the same price, though.

    probably the GA-P55-UD4P

actually got this myself a couple months ago, has been faultless.

edit: actually this is not dual pcie x16. i think the cheapest gigabyte p55 board with dual x16 slots is the GA-P55A-UD7, which is quite a bit pricier.
