I think after the Sydney Olympics caffeine was taken off the ban substance list, but excessive amounts will draw attention... Also I think the average sport performance boost by a person on caffeine is 5% after 1 standard cup of coffee, however this only kicks in about 30-60 mins after you have it and will only last 60-90 mins. Which afterward some people can have a lowered average performance coming off the effects of caffeine.

I used to have a cup before tennis started and one cup after the first and second sets. I don't really know if it worked or not.

My caffeine crash is always pretty apparent. Even after 1 cup, I feel like shit a few hours later. And I always sweat a lot when I drink it too.

I drink anywhere from 4 to 12 cups of coffee a shift these days :/
I don't know why I bother tho, as I don't see any effect from it.

12 cups? That's excessive. Had your blood pressure checked recently?

Funny thing is, I don't suffer any 'withdrawal' like symptoms when I have my 4-5 RDO stretches.
I only drink the stuff at work really.
