The taste depends on location. Not all the franchises are going to taste the same.

The variation is often slight, with the odd exception. They're franchise stores for a reason, which requires a level of consistency.

Well when it comes to food, the variation can be very noticeable. Examples include; The dough, cooking time how much topping and sauce. All the small things add up to something noticable

Dominos use no-knead dough, toppings are brand-wide and delivered to stores 3 times a week, they use the same sauce, and the cooking time is controlled by the pizza oven. The only real differential is the quantity of topping and whether or not the toppings are at the start or end of their life in the store. Also how long it has sat around before it gets to you is a big deal.

I find greater variation in fried foods like KFC, as old oil changes the flavour dramatically, and you can get some really poor quality chickens served up.

...aaaaaaaand we're back to normal. Even bots aren't this bad, are they? That last sentence sounded like Yoda on PCP or something.
