After my HD4890 dying on me me a few months back I could not decide what card to replace it with so I threw in an old 8600GT to keep my PC running. Afer much debate and hair pulling I picked up a Palit GTX470 with twin fan Palit- GTX 470 (1280MB GDDR5) and Iv'e got to say I'm impressed. Seems to run reasonably cool and the fans cant be heard over the case fans and the power, fuck me, just turn all settings flat out and go hard. definitely worth a look seeing as the price is dropping.
