Can't say in Darwin but look for one of the places that sell second hand government/office furniture. I spent ages going around to officeworks and other suppliers and uming/arring over $300 chairs. I went to one of the ex-government furniture sellers in Melbourne and picked up an excellent chair for $50... and they had dozens of them.

Yeah I recommended the Big-W high back chairs too - usually around $100 mark and they last quite well, even with a fat prick like me sitting on em!
