Thread: Game Server Stats!

Hey all...

Finally got time to install some stats on the GU CSS server (for starters).

On the menu bar above is a link called "Game Server Stats". Lot's of cool info in there, including the current status of the server, ranking etc.

It also integrates into the ingame system.

Say "/help" in game and see a list of "/" commands to use. It makes use of the in game web browser a lot of the time.

Once we tweak with the design of GU, we will have better game server status pages, etc.

Also, it has other cool function slike auto-sig generators. (ie: My sig is generated by "http://gamers-underground.com/hlstatsx/sig.php?player_id=30").

If you click on the GU logo top-left, you will return to the forums (equiv of clicking "New Posts").

Let me know if you have any problems with it.

minimum of four players in the server required for the stats to log onto the website, so no spamming the server at 3am

OD Can you get the stats thingy to recognise gu. as a clan? cause a few of us are using the

It's probably because of the way I imported the data - wait till tonight when some new data comes in and we'll see if it picks it up.

When I click there I seem to lose my identity, ie cookies not working from that link? Works fine any where else in GU. Is wierd.

It's gamers-underground.com and not www.gamers-underground.com. Were you using IE?

no i use firefox. I click the server stats at the top, then go to the server page, then click the GU image at the top left and lose identity. should i not have the www. bit?

Ed: OK, i dont use the www. and it works.

Just changed the cookies domain settings - should be ok from now on (with a new cookie, that could mean requiring a new login... bah - bloody cookies...)
