how can i get this to work?

GU uses HLstatsX but it cant find my steam id

If the image URL is static, just upload it via URL in your "Edit Signature" area. Keeping in mind users are only allowed one image per signature now.

If you're about to ask "why?" your bloated signature space with 3 images is reason enough.

and rec, if you think that is bloated, you haven't seen many forums out there, some are absolutely shocking
the whole point was i was going to swap that instead of what i have, as i don't play xbox 360 anymore and i have xfire on the left

I was just thinking, you'll probably find once uploaded, even if via the "URL" option, it won't remain dynamic as it's always linking to the version copied across onto the GU forum directory.

Bummer, eh. The issue is that with the new design's fixed with, people with outrageously large (esp. wide) signatures are going to ruin it for everyone (ie; Paladin until I removed his). If the upload-only sig restriction isn't placed, linking to off site images would continue to be a problem as they can't be checked for file dimensions inside the IMG BB code.

We've tried to use "guidlines" for acceptable sigs before, but it only works for a few weeks and then you see the stupidness coming out of the wood-work again.
