Thread: Please ban this person - nazi spray

I saw this guy in one of the GU WC3 servers spraying a tag consisting of a red nazi banner with a swastika in the middle and the iron cross in one corner. I exploded at this (yes, I swore, and yes, I know this is also not allowed, but I think it pales by comparison), and his only response was "yeah, cool isn't it?" and "I use it in DOD so I'm allowed to have it here", and refused to stop spraying it. As the servers have policies against abuse, please ban him on the grounds of racial abuse - this tag can't be seen as anything else. I was positively disgusted by it - I have friends in the Jewish community, and I know what they went through, but even if I didn't, it's still a symbol related to the most horrific ethnic cleansing of modern times, and it is illegal to use it like this. The fact that he thinks it's "cool" is unspeakable. One might claim that he doesn't understand the gravity of the situation, but I think this too is impossible, and even if it's not he should bloody well find out. Bung-Eye was in the server at the time - he didn't speak up or boot him, that's fine, he's allowed not to agree with me, but I think he can confirm that it happened. I took a demo of him spraying it once, but it happened quite a lot more than this - I'm not sure that the demo worked, if it didn't you'll have to take my word for it.

Nope demo didnt work, and no we cannot take your word for it. We have to have some proof and without that demo, it just doesnt hold up.
Did anybody else at the time grab a screenie or demo?

I to was slightly angered [SIN] |HERO| Fa_Kov Owns u!!! 's spray and have on many occasions asked admins who have been in server at same time to do something but no justice has been brought as yet.


I will however do as hawkeye suggest and take a screenshot or demo the next time I seem him.

You will be appeased to know i banned him today.
Not only for the nazi spray, but he abused & accused me of cheating (under alias).

He is banned from one server but is still able to play on the other.

He no longer has the nazi spray due to "2 many ppl complained bout it" and when asked to he is willing to get it back :?

In ya config file you can disable viewing of in game sprays - I do and have no problems and in fact actually gives slightly more fps - no drawing of extra graphics etc.

So they can spray away like a pack of Tomcats and I dont see nuthing

Just a suggestion

hehe well i dont mind it cuz i like the art works but

people who make sprays for insulting ppl

are low lifes.

Another way is to set cl_allowdownload to 0 and that way the custom tags aren't downloaded

Sure everyone can go around editing their config or fiddle with console commands, but then people would still be going around spraying what ever they please, wouldn't we prefer that sprays such as the nazi flag not be sprayed at all?

whereas im sure that anyone with anything to do with the twin towers would think that you're all pricks for playing a game where you try to blow things up..
