Thread: NS Server...ummmm

Hopped on for a short time tonight....Harbs was on aswell.

Looks good, but server crashes when ever there is a firefight.

Not sure but NS may be a little buggy still??

when can e get a big game/s in?

Yeh, server crashed on me twice while there was just me in

might be the CD, isn't NS itself i think, cos i been playing on optus and the other ozforces one, and no troubles there.. none of the others were using CD though

So the copy is ok then Harbs?

ping is still crap though, didn't fix it

Its not the game as i have played on other servers that worked fine and also my ping is as low as any other game (for a majority of the time)

Great that we have our own server but I don't we'll need CD for ns if that's the thing giving problems as it does seriously have problems. We should just stick with giving admin powers to the responsible regularl members who play ns.

As much as I think CD is a good idea .... I have to agree with Jay. Let the server run without it if its causing problems and see how things go. If there are too may problems/issues then of course it can be revisited.
