Should see them tommorow 25th.
Seems they are also doing away with 1500 speeds.

Not sure how the 12 and 24 month minimum is being worked out.

It's all a fucking ruse. 2GB plan, 2GB plan then 50GB!!? Then 200GB??? Nice balance Telstra.
Good price on the 200GB plan though.
For sure... that was what nearly hooked me in earlier this month. The other ISP's will surely have issues with Telstra offering people 200G for $99 when they can't compete. Hopefully Node can revise their plans to keep me sweet.

GU - giving everyone the freedom to post whatever they want...
so long as we can all pay them out if they missed an earlier thread on the same topic!
Anyone reselling Telstra data can compete, because Telstra wholesale prices will have dropped too - they're not allowed to offer retail prices lower than what they sell data to other providers for. They tried that a number of years ago and got a fair-trading kick in the pants.
Yeh Node and other ISP's already gone to the ACCC.. but they take so long to do anything might be good for 6 months![]()
I didn't read that PDF you just linked too, but I'll assume that Telstra are indeed up their old tricks. Another kick in the pants coming.![]()

I've never seen Simon post on WP on a weekend before...
This was posted dinner time Saturday..
ACCC & Internode - Internode - Whirlpool ForumsWith respect:
- the pricing noted is speculative and does not yet exist
- ACCC investigation of the price squeeze has only just commenced and has yet to yield any results. Clearly if the squeeze got even more unfair we would expect to add that to the complaint already filed.
But thats is for now;
So its a little soon to be expecting anyone to match currently nonexistent potential pricing that might be offered by a monopoly wielding it's Significant Market Power to go for a customer grab in the interim (as it has in the past).
Could we perhaps debate real things, not speculation?
Seems a little unfair to turn the Internode forum into a Bigpond sales forum, doesn't it? Cross ISP comparison is deleted by moderators in other forums, so some consistency would be nice too.
Nothing more anyone from Internode can (or should) say about this unless at least two of the three things above change.
